Hi Jennifer,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question.
I remember being so excited the first time the
Disney Magic visited my home province of Quebec (Canada), so I completely understand where you’re coming from. It’s lovely to have a bit of, well, Disney Magic at our doorstep!
That said, from what I understand and based on my experience, tours of a
Disney Cruise Line ship aren’t possible for the general public, even when the ship is docked at a port close to your home. There are sometimes some limited exceptions made for travel agents or vendors, but that’s it. If you’d like to see whether that policy is still in effect when the
Disney Wonder visits Tasmania this year, I highly recommend that you contact Disney Cruise Line, either by email or by phone, to see whether you’d qualify for a ship tour while she’s in port.
And don't forget that if you poke around the
planDisney video library and even on YouTube, you'll find some virtual ship tours that are almost as good as the real thing.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us while you’re dreaming of your potential cruise vacation next year! We’re always happy to help make Disney dreams come true!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
