Hi, Kara! Thanks for being OUR guest at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
At
Be Our Guest Restaurant, you can sit back, relax and pull up a chair as the dining room proudly presents... your dinner!
While this enchantingly immersive restaurant is not technically considered a
character dining experience, the Beast has been known to greet his guests from time to time. During breakfast and lunch, the Beast lurks somewhere in the West Wing, remaining hidden from guests. However, the master of the castle often will make an appearance during dinner hours to mingle with visitors to his home.
Due to the Beast's moody and brooding nature, his appearances are subject to change and are not guaranteed. However, I can tell you that each time I have had dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant, I have been able to visit with the Beast after enjoying my meal. There was even a
Disney PhotoPass Service photographer there to take our picture. If you
book a reservation for Be Our Guest Restaurant, I think there is a good chance that your son will be able to meet the Beast.
While you are enjoying your dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant, be sure to save room for dessert. You really must try the grey stuff; it's delicious! Don't believe me, ask the dishes!
After your meal, stop over to
Enchanted Tales with Belle to visit with the princess herself. You just might be invited to become a part of a tale as old as time. Belle and the Beast have also been known to appear in the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. So find a good spot on Main Street, U.S.A, and be sure to wave to them as they make their way down the parade route.
Have a magical day!
Samantha
