Hello. Looking at booking a dessert fireworks viewing event. It looks like the last reservation time is 8:00pm. Is that the best time to book and be able to stay and watch the fireworks, or will there be later seatings that will cause us to be bumped?

    Hi Torry,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family and friends will tell you I LOVE a good Dessert Party. I enjoy the tasty treats and having a reserved spot to view a nighttime spectacular. No one does nighttime spectaculars like Walt Disney World Resort!
On the reservation page for any of the Dessert Parties, there is usually one time listed per evening. If your reservation is at 8 P.M. for a Dessert Party you can rest assured that you will not be bumped. At Magic Kingdom Park, there are three different Fireworks Dessert Parties with times that overlap. The Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace takes place entirely on the lower level of the Tomorrowland Terrace quick-service restaurant. There is a dessert buffet and seating with a lovely view of Cinderella Castle. If the weather cooperates, Tinker Bell flies right overhead. The Fireworks Party with Plaza Garden Viewing takes place on the upper level of the Tomorrowland Terrace. You enjoy the delicious dessert buffet with ample seating but as the time for the fireworks approaches you will be directed to the Plaza Garden. This is my favorite view because Cinderella Castle is directly in front of you. The third option is the Magic Kingdom After-Fireworks Dessert Party. For this party, you check-in at Tomorrowland Terrace but go to the Plaza Garden first to enjoy the fireworks. When the fireworks are over, you return to Tomorrowland Terrace to enjoy the dessert buffet. The three dessert parties share some spaces but there is room for everyone who has made a reservation.
My current favorite is the After-Fireworks party. I love enjoying a comfortable seat with a sweet treat while waiting for the crowds to thin out.
