We are looking into booking a cruise, the flight would land in orlando at 9:30, I see you can begin boarding the ship at 1, is there anything to do in the area of the boat to fill in our time?

    Hi Michele,

Welcome to the Moms Panel, and I'm thrilled to hear you are considering a Disney Cruise!  This has become the ultimate vacation destination for my family.

This is actually a great arrival time into Orlando.  Once you land you can expect it to take about an hour-and-a-half to arrive at the cruise terminal.  Here you will be required to go through security and check in for your voyage.  Guests board the ship in "groups" based on the time they arrived at the terminal.  The earlier you arrive, the earlier boarding group you will be in.

In my experience, they make every attempt to commence the boarding process well before 1:00 p.m.  In all of my voyages we boarded the ship well before noon.

Regardless of what time you are able to board, the terminal is always a flurry of excitement.  Passengers are excited, and the characters join in on the fun and will pose for photos and sign autographs.

    I hope this helps!
