Welcome to planDisney, John! It sounds like you had a great time on Disney Cruise Line before and are ready to do it again!
My son loved going to
Disney Oceaneer Club and didn't want to leave until they closed every night. I asked him about this, and he shared there were guided activities for young Guests over the age of 4. He particularly remembered the counselors being involved in Four Square and other similar games. If the Disney ship you plan on sailing on has both the Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab, they will be able to move between the 2 spaces to take part in a variety of activities, but there are always trained Youth Activities counselors around. I suggest visiting during Open House time, when you can enter the space with her, walk around, and meet some of the counselors. You will find the Open House times listed in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are onboard.
Have you heard that Dine and Play is back? For families with 8:15 pm dining seating and children already registered for Disney's Oceaneer Club and Lab, parents can bring their children to the entrance of the rotational dining restaurant between 9:00 pm and 9:15 pm, and Youth Activities Counselors will escort them to the fun waiting for them in Oceaneer Club and Lab.
John, if you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney for answers.
Adventure is out there!
