Hi there. We were looking at booking a Arts of Animation suite as we are a big family. However, there are 7 of us. I have heard you can request an extra roll out bed on a first come first serve basis. Would this be possible?

Welcome to planDisney, Abbie! I'm so glad that I get to answer this question for you about planning your upcoming vacation. Choosing your Resort Hotel is a very important part of booking your holiday, and I'm happy to walk you through what choices are available for your large family.

Abbie, the family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort have a capacity of up to six guests and, for safety reasons, would not be able to accommodate all seven of your family members. I think that the best course of action would be for you to book two rooms, and there's even the possibility for them to have a connecting interior door so your family can be together. You'll also have access to two bathrooms, which is a big plus when you're getting lots of people ready in the morning! Have you had a chance to check out Disney's Pop Century Resort? It's right across Generation Gap Bridge from Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and they even share a Disney Skyliner station. Two rooms there would comfortably fit your family, and it has the same fun Disney theming that I'm sure you loved when you were looking at other Value Resort Hotels. You also have the option of booking a two-bedroom Deluxe Villa, which can sleep up to eight or nine guests depending on where you book, so be sure to have a look at those as well!

I hope this answers your question, Abbie, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
