Looking to book 2 weeks in 2025, partner thinks Jan is too cold and I found May too hot. Is there a sweet spot in the middle of these months to avoid popular holidays? There are many US holidays and events and we are struggling to find the perfect window.

Welcome to planDisney, Kayleigh! I assume you're looking out on the same grey sky and rain as me, and right now, that Floridian sunshine could not be more welcome.

Now, I'm a little biased and think that any time of year is perfect at Walt Disney World, but let's try and find that perfect timing for you and your partner. Next year, Easter is a little later in April, so the final weeks of March into April shouldn't coincide with any British school holidays. It's also the time of year when EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival typically runs. This epic extravaganza is stunning for the eyes and a delight for the tastebuds. I highly recommend visiting at this time.

Regardless of the time of year, Walt Disney World is popular. You may find things a little quieter and less hot in the first weeks of November, with the added bonus that you may also see some of the renowned festive decor around the Theme Parks and Resorts.

Having visited during every season, I know there is always magic to be found! If it's hot, plan to take breaks at the warmest times of the day, whether you sit down to enjoy the air conditioning at a table-service restaurant or head back to your Disney Resort hotel for a nap or splash in the pool. And always try and use your Early Theme Park Entry. Those early mornings are a cinch with our jetlag!

Kayleigh, the enchantment of Walt Disney World is there, waiting, no matter when you visit. Have the best time. Soak up some vitamin D and magic!
