We are looking to book the week of Dec27-Jan4, 2021, Are there any Christmas attractions/events that we would miss by arriving on the 27th? In other words, are there Chrismas specific events that end on the 25th?

Merry Christmas, Vince! You are planning to visit at the most magical time of the year! Mickey and Minnie just love the holiday season!

While the Walt Disney World Resort recently shared news regarding their plans on celebrating Halloween, we are still awaiting word on how the Christmas season will be celebrated. Even last year, when some traditional events had to be canceled, Guests were still able to enjoy the season with some of the most beautiful decorations that made The Most Magical Place on Earth look even more magical!

Christmas and holiday decorations begin to appear throughout the Disney Parks and Disney Resort Hotels almost as soon as the Halloween decorations come down! Those Christmas decorations usually stay up through the beginning of the new year!

When you arrive on December 27th the Walt Disney World Resort will most likely still be decked out with all the joyous sights and sounds of the holiday season! My family visited during Christmas last year. We checked out on December 27th and all decorations were still in place the same as when we arrived.

Vince, we may have to wait just a few more weeks to hear what special events (and dates) might be planned for our favorite place, during our favorite season! Keep checking the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date news and announcements!
