Welcome to planDisney, Brittany! We are so happy you are here!
Oh boy, you must be so excited to be planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You're so smart to start planning early, and March is such a fabulous time to visit! I find that the temperatures are usually relatively mild, making it so pleasant to stroll around and enjoy all that Walt Disney World has to offer without desperately seeking air conditioning! While the official dates for 2023 have not yet been released, your vacation will likely line up with the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. You will definitely want to plan some time in EPCOT to enjoy the festival's stunning topiary displays, live entertainment, and of course, THE FOOD!
Now, let's get to planning that fabulous vacation! Currently, the vacation packages for 2023 have not yet been released. But worry not, Brittany! At this time, you are welcome to book a room-only reservation with a Cast Member on the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team by calling (407) 939-1936. Then, once the vacation packages are released, you can call back and have your reservation upgraded to a package with theme parks tickets,
Disney Genie+ and more! I highly recommend calling as early as possible to lock in your hotel reservation, as rooms do book up quite quickly. This way, you don't have to worry about limited availability at your preferred Disney Resorts Collection hotel for your dates.
You really can't go wrong with any of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, but I find it's important to consider your vacation style when making your selection. For example, suppose you're a family of foodies and thrill-seekers. In that case, I recommend staying at a resort in the
EPCOT area, where you can walk to EPCOT to enjoy the outdoor kitchens and take a scenic ride on the friendship boats over to
Disney's Hollywood Studios for a wild ride on
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. My favorite in this area is
Disney's Beach Club Resort, with its stunning water views and the awesome Stormalong Bay pool!
If you're traveling with little ones, you might enjoy a stay closer to
Magic Kingdom Park, with easy transportation back to your hotel for a mid-day nap. In this case, I recommend
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, where you're just a short monorail ride away from the magic!
If you've got a budding Zoologist or animal lover in your group, then
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a no-brainer! I mean, where else can you look outside your hotel window and find a Giraffe strolling around a Savannah? It's such an incredible experience, so I highly recommend it!
Brittany, I know there is a lot to consider when planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so just know that the team here at planDisney is here to help!
