Now, the first thing you'll want to do to kickstart your planning is to decide on a budget. I know, I know, that's not the fun part of planning, but it's always a good place to start. Then,

One important thing to know is that Disney Resorts Collection Hotels fall into three different tiers:
Value,
Moderate, and
Deluxe. Each category offers different transportation options, amenities, and (surprise, surprise!), price points. But no matter which tier you choose, you'll get all the
perks and benefits of staying on site at a Disney World resort. This includes complimentary park transportation,
Early Theme Park Entry, and a bit of an edge in terms of
Lightning Lanes and Advance Dining Reservations.
As you browse your resort options, keep in mind that you can play with the total package price as you navigate the booking process. So select a resort you like, then choose your room type on the next page. Then you'll choose the number of park days you want, the type of theme park admission you want, and add a
Disney Dining Plan if you'd like.
Laura, I'm both an adult daughter and the mom of my own 9-year-old daughter. So even though I don't know how old your daughter is, I feel pretty qualified to recommend a few can't-miss experiences! If your daughter is 12 or under, try to snag an appointment at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. My little girl is way more Merida than Cinderella, but she still LOVED her royal transformation at this classic Magic Kingdom salon.
However, if you've got a teenager or an adult daughter on your hands, I highly recommend a visit to
The Grand Floridian Spa. My mom and I recently spent Mother's Day there together, and I'm already itching to go back!
