Hello Zayna and thanks for asking planDisney such an important question about arranging the best options for your family's needs when staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel!
It looks like you have a Holiday vacation in mind for your dear family this coming December at
Disney's Pop Century Resort - how fun! The
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are amongst my most favourite times of the yEar for a Disney vacation. I love everything from the seasonal decor and twinkling lights, to all the usual Holiday happenings such as
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in the
Magic Kingdom Park, or the
Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays where Guests can experience a taste of yuletide traditions when meandering around World Showcase - it's all extra magical!
As a parent to 4 children, my family often needed to place a request for
connecting rooms with an
internal door so we could all be comfortably accommodated together, but in 2 standard-sized Resort rooms. I believe this may be the type of room reservation you are enquiring about, or if not, you might have meant
adjoining rooms - which are 2 separate rooms but placed next door to each other.
It's easy to have a request for either connecting or adjoining rooms noted on your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation. Simply let the Cast Member know to make a note on your reservation at the time of booking when calling the phone number for
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations contained within this
Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory. However, it's worth bearing in mind that Cast Members will always do their best to accommodate all Guest requests, but requests can never be guaranteed and are based on current availability.
Zayna, a top tip for placing reservation requests that has worked well for me in the past, would be to call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations again around 24 hours prior to check-in to reiterate your family's particular needs... then all that's needed is a little faith, trust, and pixie dust for your room reservation request to hopefully be granted!
If I can offer you any further insight into creating a happy Holiday vacation for your dear family, please do pop back to
planDisney where I'm always happy to help.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
