looking to book a trip 10/8-10/15 to stay on resort for 3 adults and 2 kids (12/10)

    Hi Rendie! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m so happy to hear you're looking to book a Walt Disney World vacation! How exciting to know that your magic journey is just getting started! You’re in for such a treat with so many new and exciting things to enjoy these days at Walt Disney World. Speaking of treats, did you know that if you visit in October, you’ll arrive just in time to enjoy the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? Now, I MAY be a bit food obsessed, but I’m still confident that the festival will be one of the highlights of your trip. Just wait until you try the incredible food from the many global marketplaces featuring cuisine from all over the world. When you get there, be sure to pick up a Festival Passport that will break down each food offering and its location, ensuring you don't miss out on any of the good stuff!

Before I go on for too long about food, let’s get your vacation booked! I find that the easiest way to get started is to head straight to the Walt Disney World website. Once there, just follow these simple steps.

    • First, look for the “Build Your Vacation” banner at the top of the page.
    • Then, enter your travel dates, party size, and preferred hotel (if you have one) and click “View Rates.”
    • From there, you will see all the available resorts and their nightly rates.
    • Once you pick the Disney Resorts Collection hotel you’d like to stay at, you’ll be taken to a page where you can select theme park tickets, add-on options, and more!
    • Finally, once you’ve found the vacation package that fits your needs, simply click “Check Out” and follow the prompts to complete your booking, and you’re on your way!

If booking online isn’t your thing, you can also call the Resort Hotel Reservations team at (407) 939-1936, where one of the fabulous Cast Members will be happy to help you! If this is your first visit, you might enjoy chatting with someone on the phone to discuss your options and make sure your vacation is booked with your family's needs, budget, etc., in mind.

When booking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, there is a lot to think about, so another option is to work with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. These travel professionals are Walt Disney World experts and will be able to guide you through the vacation planning process from start to finish. They can even book everything on your behalf, from Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservations to ground transportation, Disney Genie Service, and more. They can even make your Advanced Dining Reservations for you so you can just sit back, relax, and look forward to your vacation. How great is that? Now, your best bet in finding an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is via a simple Google search. You can use terms like “Disney Travel Agent,” and you’ll likely find a lot of great options there. Of course, it might also be helpful just to ask around! Referrals are often the best way to find someone, so it wouldn’t hurt to ask some friends or even share a post on social media.

I am so excited for you to go on this incredible vacation with your family! Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any other vacation planning questions you may have.

    Happy Planning!
