We are looking to book a trip in spring 2013. We are debating between the first week of March or the 3rd week of May. Because Easter is at the end of March in 2013, would we be better off going in May? Or will the crowds still be moderate in March?

    Hey Angela!

The "Spring Break" season typically lasts from mid-March through the week following Easter.  Crowds will be quite heavy through the first week of April.  However, the first week of March would probably be great crowd-wise because most schools aren't yet on break at that time.

The third week of May might draw larger crowds due to the upcoming Memorial Day holiday as well as Star Wars Weekends.

Given the choice between those two times, I would lean towards visiting the first week of March. The weather should be great and the crowds at a moderate level.  However, if you do decide to chose May, know that you'll be in for some great entertainment between Star Wars Weekends and the Epcot International Flower and Garden festival!
