We are looking to book another trip, but when we do my son will now be considered an adult. When dining on the meal plan, does he have to order an adult meal or can he order a kids meal for table service?

    Hi Robyn!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Anyone over the age of nine is considered an "adult" when booking things for Walt Disney World.  However, if you have the dining plan and your son would rather order from the kids' menu, it is fine.  In fact, there are many times that I order the from it myself!

Unfortunately, you will still be paying the adult price for his plan, but you can definitely order a kids' meal.

Something we will do, to help save some of our meal credits, is to share a meal.   You can't do this at family-style service restaurants or buffets, but at quick-service and table-service when you order from a menu, it's a great way to save credits and/or money.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
