Hi there, Herman! Welcome to planDisney. I love that we’re already jumping into planning 2027 trips to The Happiest Place on Earth! There’s nothing more exciting than getting a trip on the calendar and having something to look forward to.
You’re absolutely right that, at the moment, we can only see the
ticket calendar extended out through December 2026. In my past experience, when looking ahead to the following year’s visits, those dates tend to roll out around late summer of the prior year. If that pattern continues, you’ll want to keep your eye on the ticketing calendar around mid to late August of this year for a 2027 visit. My best tip is to keep tabs on the
Disney Parks Blog, as this is your go-to source for news on all things Disney. In addition, the
Disneyland account on Instagram is another great way to stay connected on any upcoming announcements.
Since you’re planning for a March 2027 visit, it’s also a great time to start thinking about a few flexible planning pieces while you wait for those bookings to release. March is often a popular time to visit with that Californian spring time weather and schools off on spring break, so having a bit of flexibility with your exact travel dates can really help once availability opens up. I also recommend thinking about whether you’re aiming for weekday or weekend travel, as that can make a difference in both crowd levels and ticket pricing.
Another helpful step you can take now is to start mapping out your must-do experiences. Whether that’s specific attractions, character dining, or even just a few restaurants you’d love to try, having that list ready will make it easier to secure dining reservations and decide on
Lightning Lane Passes once your trip gets closer.
Dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance, and popular spots do tend to go quickly.
Herman, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope this information is helpful as you dream up your upcoming visit. If you have any more questions along the way, planDisney is always here for you!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
