Looking to book a trip January 5th through January 8th. 2 adults. Please help. It doesn't look like anything is available, is that true? Thanks, Trevor

Hi Trevor, and welcome to planDisney!

January is an excellent time to visit Walt Disney World Resort!

I took the liberty of doing a quick search on my end, and you are (currently) correct, as it shows no available rooms. However, I made a slight adjustment in my search and found available resorts. If it fits your schedule, try adjusting your arrival date by a day or two, and see if availability exists. Of course, availability is fluid and can change anytime, but it is worth a shot.

There is good news! If you are open, you may not have to give up on your original vacation dates. You can continue to check daily, and something could likely show between now and then. Or, have you considered a stay at any of the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels? I have personally experienced the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, and the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista. I would enjoy another stay at either if the need arises (without question). Also, the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista would be the newest hotel in the area. No matter which resort you choose, you will be within walking distance of Disney Springs, and many of the hotels offer transportation to the theme parks.

Please let us know if you have additional questions during this planning phase of your vacation.

    Have a magical time!
