Ahoy, Caitlin, and welcome to planDisney!
Caitlin, this question is near and dear to my heart as we celebrated my younger son's birthday while on a Disney Cruise Line ship! If you decide to take a trip during your daughter's birthday, make sure to note on your reservation that you'll be celebrating such a special occasion!
Now, while celebrations are Magical safety is most important, so let's chat about how to accommodate food allergies on the
Disney Wish. The main dining rooms (aboard the Disney Wish these are
1923,
Worlds of Marvel, and
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure) are able to
accommodate peanut-free and other common allergy requests. Typically enjoyed for dinner, you can also have breakfast and lunch at these venues. Just check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for which restaurant is serving breakfast and lunch each day. And... as you mentioned, the buffet-style and quick-service meals can be a bit more challenging, so I'll encourage you to visit the Guest Services Desk (located on
deck 4 of the Disney Wish) and speak to a Cast Member about your daughter's allergy needs on embarkation day. Make sure to inquire about the Onboard Dining Session and attend if offered.
Caitlin, I hope this helps as you are deciding if you'll be sailing the high seas in honor of your daughter's 3rd birthday. If you have any additional questions or need recommendations, please point that compass in the direction of planDisney and row on back! We are always happy to serve a returning guest.
