We are looking to book a trip in December and purchase park tickets ahead of time. In the event that we have to reschedule our trip (due to illness, etc.), can we reschedule our ticket reservations to another date? Is there insurance offered on tickets?

    Hi Lauren,

Welcome to planDisney! Spending the Holidays at The Happiest Place on Earth is truly magical. With the lights, snow, and festive spirit, it’s hard not to feel the holiday cheer!

If you’re worried about needing to make changes to your vacation, I recommend booking your trip through the Walt Disney Travel Company. This complimentary service helps Guests plan their perfect Disney vacations. A Cast Member can assist you in creating your dream vacation package, which can include park tickets and hotel stays. They’re available daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM (PST) at (714) 956-6425.

When you book through the Walt Disney Travel Company, you’ll enjoy flexible policies that can give you peace of mind:

    * If you cancel your trip 30 days or more before your check-in date, there’s no penalty.
    * If you cancel between 29 and 4 days before arrival, a $200 cancellation fee will apply (fees are subject to change).
    * If you cancel 3 days or less prior to check-in, your trip will be nonrefundable.

You also have the option to reschedule your trip. You can modify your travel dates up to 4 days before check-in. Please note that rates may vary depending on your new travel dates, and you’ll need to pay any resulting difference. Additionally, availability may be limited if you make changes close to your original check-in date.

I hope this was helpful, Lauren! I have plenty more advice on how to maximize your time in the parks or make the most of the holidays at Disneyland Resort, so please come back with more questions. We here at planDisney are always happy to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your family’s next Disney adventure.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
