Looking to book tickets and hotels on your website. I understand early entry is granted with staying on property. Is the free lanyard and pin still included in booking the package for Disneyland?

Greetings, Alex, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to provide some information about the Disneyland Resort hotel vacation packages. It is a convenient way to arrange accommodations and theme park tickets, and you'll enjoy some perks, too!

First, let's talk about how it works. When you purchase a vacation package from the Walt Disney Travel Company, you'll receive a Travel ePackage in your linked MyDisney account three days before your arrival. This will include your theme park tickets, travel itinerary, and voucher.

You'll redeem the voucher on-site to receive your exclusive Walt Disney Travel Company collectible pin and lanyard (limit of one per Guest ages three and older while supplies last). You'll also use your voucher to receive savings at many participating dining and merchandise locations in the Downtown Disney District!

Alex, I'm glad you're considering staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, because it's an amazing experience! My family and I try to stay a few times each year to fully immerse ourselves in Disney magic. As a Disneyland Resort hotel Guest, you'll enjoy wonderful perks like Early Entry, which allows you to enter a designated park 30 minutes before the park opens to everyone. Just make sure your park reservation matches the park offering Early Entry each day of your visit.

There are activities exclusively for hotel guests, too, such as complimentary movie nights and hotel tours. Fitness classes can be booked for an additional fee. Doesn't paddleboard yoga or a Super Hero-inspired exercise class sound fun? Each hotel has a pool area with a unique theme and mix of features. The Disneyland Hotel pools are my favorite for water fun. There are mini water slides for small children, two larger Monorail-themed water slides, a Steamboat Willie splash pad, three separate pools, and a few jacuzzis.

You picked a great time to consider a trip – the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration just kicked off, and there is a hotel offer providing savings on select stays this summer. You can upgrade that offer to a vacation package by adding theme park tickets – check out the Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer! The Disney Parks Blog has a great guide that highlights all the amazing things you can expect during your visit. The top of my list of recommendations would be Wondrous Journeys, Paint the Night, and the Key to Disneyland, although there are plenty of other amazing things to do, too.

Alex, I’m confident you’ll have an unforgettable time. Please reach out with any other questions. We're happy to help!

Wishing you pixie dust and lots of fun,
    Kriss
