Hi. I am looking to book a stay in February at Pop Century resort. How far is standard room from main building and transportation. I have 5 year old who will get tired at the end of exciting day at park, and I don't want to make her walk far.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nafeesa! Disney’s Pop Century Resort is my absolute favorite value resort! The vintage style theming with touches of Disney movies is just what I want to see in my hotel! Add the recent refurbishment with plush mattresses and more storage and I’m squealing like Pumba!

I typically pay for standard rooms at this Resort and my favorite building is the 1970’s. It’s just off the beaten path and close to the bus stop, with no pool outside my windows. I can easily visit the Hippy Dippy or Computer Pool, but have a nice quiet area for a nap in the afternoon or to have my kids fall asleep in the evening (we’re early risers). You may also enjoy the 1960s building as it’s straight off the lobby to the rear of the Resort. If you would like to have your reservation number handy, you can call (407) 939-1936 and add this location request to your reservation. You may also want to try to notate your 1970’s building request in your Online Resort Check-in, when applicable.

Be sure to check out the playground or Movies Under the Stars one night during your stay. I got to watch The Lion King on the lawn during my last visit, complete with an ice cream from Everything Pop. Let me know if you have more questions. Hakuna Matata! ~ Lindsey P.
