Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re planning a trip to the magic very soon! For me, the countdown and planning is always half the fun! A stay at any one of the All-Star Resorts sounds like it will be a great time. Every so often, availability within the Walt Disney World Resort reservations system can make booking your ideal length of stay a little more challenging. Promotions and other factors might be limiting availability, but all hope is not lost!
Even Disney magic has a few behind-the-scenes rules, and sometimes the system throws us a curveball. Whenever I run into this issue myself, I hop on the phone and give the resort a call. I had to do this earlier this week since there was no availability at the resort I had my heart set on during the dates I needed. I was able to call and speak with a cast member who checked for me, and she was able to grab the dates I needed at my desired resort. Cast members truly work their magic whenever they can to help guests and in cases like this, it doesn’t hurt to call!
When you call, be willing to get creative to meet your needs - a split stay might be a good solution that will help you snag your dates across multiple All-Star Resorts. Resort cast members will even help you get your luggage from resort to resort.
While you’re booking, cast members can help you book add-ons like one of the
Disney Dining Plans,
Memory Maker, and any special experience within the
Enchanting Extras Collection, so be sure to consider adding a little pixie dust to your stay. The Dining Plan is a fantastic deal right now if you’re traveling with children ages 3-9 because they’ll eat for free during 2026 vacations!
