Looking to book 8/16-8/22, Me, DH, 2DS (7 & 17). Quest is this; AKL vs Cont vs Poly? Need a room w/3 beds & where toilet and/or shower is sep from sinks. Looks like AKL is best bet but hard to tell. Have always stayed at Value before. Love y'all!

    Hi Christy,

So glad that you stopped by for our input. I hope I can help you make the most informed and best decision for your family. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a fantastic resort and one of my favorites. Here you can also get bunk beds, which might be fun for your boys. The older one could stay on the bottom and the younger on the top, while you and your husband have the queen bed. The added bonus of this resort is the option of Savanna view rooms, which I highly recommend. When my family stayed there several years ago, we would come back in the late afternoon/early evening to rest our feet, but would hang out on our balcony and watch the animals! Such a unique experience that you can't get at the other two resorts and one that I think both your boys would love.

Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Polynesian Resort do have rooms that can sleep up to 5 people, which means they have two queen beds, but the couch pulls out to a small twin bed. This might be perfect for your 7 year old and the older son could take the larger queen bed. Again, both of these resorts are fantastic, too, and are very convenient to the Magic Kingdom with monorail service at the resort.

So, it would all depend on your taste in theming, location and of course, budget! I hope you have a magical time and feel free to stop back by with more questions.
