Hi, Robert!
I am excited to hear you are looking into a Greek Isles Cruise with
Disney Cruise Line. I cruised to Greece out of Rome and it was one of the most amazing experiences. The itinerary you are looking at with Mykonos, Santorini, Naples, and Chania is really fantastic. You will not soon forget the amazing Blue Domes in Santorini or the Windmills of Mykonos. I could go on forever about the food, the views, the blue water....but it really is something you need to see to believe!
Unfortunately, there is no way to check availability on
Port Adventures until you are paid in full and your booking window opens. If you book your cruise and find that your first choices for Port Adventures are booked, you may check the
Port Adventures Desk onboard to see if there is any availability. The really good news is that there are so many wonderful excursions that if your first choice is not open, you will hopefully find another. I had such a hard time choosing since the options seem endless! Once you are booked, stop back here to planDisney. Many on our team have experienced these destinations and will be happy to guide you to wonderful options for your excursions.
Prior to your cruise, hopefully you will have time to spend a day or two in Rome. This is a city with beautiful churches, charming cafes, and interesting historical sites. You will definitely keep busy on the days leading up to your cruise.
Transportation may be booked from the airport or select
Rome hotels to the cruise port which you may find convenient. When I sailed, I arranged my own transportation pre-cruise, then reserved a motorcoach return to the airport post-cruise. It was nice knowing I could simply hop on the assigned bus and it dropped me right at the airport for my flight home.
Robert, best wishes to you as you plan this
European adventure. I hope you are able to join Captains Mickey and Minnie to explore the world on the
Disney Dream (did I mention this is my favorite ship!) Bon Voyage and keep me posted on your travel plans!
Cathy
