We are looking to book a Disneyland girls trip in October staying on property 3 nights. If we only visit the parks one day (possibly 2 days), will we still be able to take advantage of the magic hour?

    Hi Cynthia!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. A girls trip to the Disneyland Resort sounds like a practically perfect idea! I would really love to do this with my friends one day. I'm also excited you will hopefully get to experience the magic of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. I just adore the unique theming of these hotels, the great restaurant options, and getting to experience wonderful service from Cast Members even after leaving the parks.

My favorite benefit of staying on Disneyland Resort property is the Extra Magic Hour as you mentioned. This perk gives you the ability to enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park one hour before opening on any day of your stay, including check-in and check-out day. You can look up the Disneyland Resort calendar online to see which park is participating in Extra Magic Hours each day as well as general park hours. This benefit is independent of how many days you will be visiting the parks, so you can experience the Extra Magic Hour even on just one day of your stay. Make sure when you enter the parks in the morning, you provide your park ticket as well as your Disneyland Resort Hotel room key to take advantage of this benefit.

Feel free to stop by again with any other questions as your trip approaches. I hope you have a magical day!
