I am looking to book a Disney vacation for my family, my Mom, and my brother's family. We have a couple of first timers (my niece and nephew - 5 and 3). Total is 5 adults and 5 kids (14,13,12,5, and 3). We don't need to all be in the same room.

Hey there, Shawn! Welcome to planDisney!

There's no better place in the world for a family vacation than The Most Magical Place on Earth! With so much to see, do, and ride I just know that you and your loved ones are going to have a wonderful time.  What I love most about Walt Disney World Resort is that the entire family, no matter their ages, can have fun together. I have three children who are 12, 7, and 2 years old, and finding a place to go that entertains everyone is no easy task.  We never worry about that at Disney! I'm sure you'll find the same magic when it comes to keeping your entire crew of kids happy.

There are a few ways to get started when it comes to booking your family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.  Since I'm just a regular Guest like you I can't set any of your plans in stone, but I can help you get started! Since your intended vacation is coming so soon, you'll probably want to start searching for the perfect accommodations and Theme Park Ticket package today!

By heading to the Walt Disney World Resort website you can search for the perfect Disney Resorts Collection hotel that fits both your idea of perfection as well as your budget.  With three Resort categories, you and your family can decide between Deluxe, Moderate, or Value accommodations.  I've stayed at every level multiple times and have to share that each one holds as much pixie dust as the next! For a family like yours, you may look into the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This Resort, with the Disney Skyliner right on its property, has suites that sleep up to six adults comfortably.  If you wanted to reserve two suites, your family could easily be close to one another without losing privacy and space.

If you're interested in a Moderate Resort, I would suggest checking out at least two rooms at either Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. These Resorts, which are big on theming but not on price, both have "5th Sleeper" option Guest rooms that include a child-size pull-down bed as well as two Queen-sized beds.

If you can't seem to find what you're looking for, or can't make up your mind (there are so many excellent choices!) feel free to call and discuss your Guest room and Ticket options with a Cast Member at (407) 939-1936.  Besides choosing your accommodations, you and your family will also need to decide how many days you plan to spend in the Theme Parks, whether you'll want to add on the Park Hopper Option, which gives you the ability to visit more than one Park in the same day, or even if you want to add Disney Genie+ Service.  Disney Genie+  essentially helps you and your family skip the lines and most of the waiting for some of your favorite attractions!

I know planning a magical vacation can be overwhelming, so you can always look to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner if you want help! These agents, found with a quick internet search, come at no cost to you and can help plan the vacation of your dreams!

Come back and see us again as you continue the planning process.  We'd love to help!

When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
