Welcome to planDisney, Alexis. It’s so nice to have a fellow RN drop by and visit! I’m excited to hear that you’re planning an upcoming family trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in April.
At this time, there is not a healthcare worker discounts available
directly through the
Walt Disney World Resort. However, Alexis, as I was planning an upcoming trip for my own family, I was able to find discounts for nurses at the
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. In fact, listed in their “
Special Offers” section, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort has a “Nurses, Doctors, Firefighters, Paramedics, Medical Personnel Appreciation Rate”. You can book online using the promotional code or call them directly. Just be sure to bring your work identification card to show proof of employment as a healthcare worker when you check-in.
Alexis, there may also be discounts available through your employer; I suggest you check at work to see if your employer offers any discount for Disney vacations. I’m an RN at a large university health system and my employer offers discounts at both
Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. It’s definitely worth asking and checking out!
Also, have you checked out the Special Offers page on Walt Disney World website? There are currently several offers available, such as getting
2 extra days added to your ticket on a select 4-night/3-day room and ticket package! This offer is valid through September 25, 2021. When you’re ready to purchase your vacation package, just remember to make a park reservation via the
Disney Park Pass prior to heading to the parks.
