Hi, Jenelle! A family breakfast with delicious food and Disney Princesses – what a dream! I'm happy to share some tips for booking this magical experience.
Large parties of 10 or more can make dining reservations for the
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures experience on the
Disneyland website, subject to availability. However, as you might imagine, getting a reservation for a group that size can be difficult. I suggest logging on early in the morning, exactly 60 days ahead of your preferred dining date, to check for openings. Also, it's possible that Guests will drop reservations, so you can keep checking other dates to see if anything opens up.
You can also try splitting your group into smaller parties and make two reservations for the same time. Then, on the day of your feast, you could explain to a Cast Member at check-in (or even earlier in the day to give them more of a heads-up) that you're part of one big group and you'd like to be seated near one another. It's not always possible, but it's worth asking!
Another option would be to try and join a walk-up list on the day of. However, advance reservations are highly encouraged since same-day reservations are limited and subject to availability.
I've heard
Goofy's Kitchen is great for larger groups and might be a more flexible option when it comes to booking. We had a wonderful dinner there recently. My kids especially liked swinging their napkins with everyone as Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and others paraded through the restaurant. Your heart may be set on the princess breakfast, but just in case, I thought I'd mention this alternative.
For a truly royal treatment, consider booking one of my favorite enchanting extras, a magical pampering session from
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! This is for kids ages 3-12, and it's located inside Disneyland, so park tickets and reservations would be required. My youngest daughter had her Bibbidi Bobbidi moment just after she turned three, and she still talks about it months later. One of my favorite photos of her was taken just after she was finished with her Fairy Godmother-in-training. She had the biggest smile on her face.
Jenelle, I'm sure your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be magical in so many ways, wherever you eat and however you celebrate. I hope your plans come together as perfectly as a fairytale ending!
Sending a little pixie dust your way,
Kriss
