Hey Howdy Hey Karen and welcome to planDisney!
What a fantastic way to end a Magical Day in the park with a dessert party! These are such great ways to relax and enjoy the evening with a reserved spot for the new show
Disney's Enchantment in Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately, these are VERY popular so more than likely you are not doing anything wrong but let's review some tips and the process to make sure.
The easiest way to book any of the experiences from the
Disney Enchanting Extras Collection would be online through your
My Disney Experience account. With the option online, you can simply search for
Dessert Parties and you should see three that come up in Magic Kingdom, Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties:
After-Party,
Pre-Party or
Disney Enchantment Treats and Seats. Select the experience you would like and put in your information to see if there is any availability. If not, Hakuna Matata, I would just keep checking multiple times daily to see if anything opens up. It is also not a bad idea on the day of, to head over early to see if they had any cancellations either for the pre-party or the Treats and Seats portion.
Another option you could look into is the
Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors & Fireworks at Disney Contemporary Resort. This experience would be available a short walk from Magic Kingdom at the top of Disney's Contemporary Resort in California Grille. Rooftop viewing of the show with the music piped in makes you feel like you are on Main Street U.S.A. to experience the show. This is a really nice view with much less of a crowd you may also have the option for.
You can also try
giving Disney a ring at freephone 0800 16 90 730 and a Cast Member will be happy to look into this for you as well.
Good luck trying to get these reservations and if you have any further questions let us know, we are happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
