Looking to book for 2026 (deluxe htl/tickets). If at a later date we wanted to upgrade to an alternative deluxe hotel but we originally booked for example a free dinning offer- is that possible without losing the offer?

Hi Laura - thanks for stopping by with another great question about your 2026 trip to my number one holiday destination - Walt Disney World.

With so many amazing Disney Resorts Collection Hotels to choose from, it's no wonder that you're having difficulty in deciding which Deluxe Resort Hotel you would like to stay at during your visit.

Over the years, my family have stayed at the vast majority of them and I would struggle to pick an out-right favourite. For proximity to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, plus access to the best pool on property - Stormalong Bay, you cannot beat the Beach Club. Alternatively, for proximity to the Magic Kingdom with the added convenience of monorail transportation, the Contemporary Resort is a winner but, that said, there's also just something about the Wilderness Lodge which always makes it a contender.

Going back to your question, Laura, generally speaking it is possible to modify an existing booking but, if you take advantage of a Deal, such as a Free Dining promotion, when originally booking, it may not be possible to make any changes without forfeiting the promotion.

Booking terms and conditions do vary from travel agent to travel agent and as such, unfortunately, it is impossible for me to give you a concrete answer to your question.

My best advice would be to contact the travel agent who you intend to make your booking with, prior to booking, to ask the question.

If you plan to book with the Walt Disney Travel Company, directly via the Walt Disney World website, you can contact their Disney Experts, 7 days a week on freephone 0800 169 0730.

Their opening hours are, as follows:-
    Monday - Friday 9am-8pm
    Saturday 9am-7pm
    Sunday 10am-6pm

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
