Hello Lauren and thank you for sailing back to us at planDisney! We are happy to have you here.
It sounds like you have made some wonderful memories onboard the Disney Cruise Line and are ready for a fourth cruise. That's wonderful! I'm so happy to hear that more
fun and adventure is ahead for your family.
I've got some great news for you, Lauren, because the Disney Cruise Line has just recently updated the "
Know Before You Go" section of their website. At this time, guests do not need to make reservations for their children to visit the Oceaneer's Club or Oceaneer's Lab. For the health and safety of all crew members and guests on board, the policies and guidelines are subject to change without notice. I recommend that you visit the
Updated Experiences page of the website for greater detail of what to expect as your sailing date draws near.
With a sailor in your sailing crew that is 10-years old, you might be interested in heading to the
Edge Youth Club during a scheduled
Open House time. Open Houses can be found on the daily schedule via the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are on the ship. My 10-year old loved the activities and games offered. During the open house, the whole family can check it out and play together. My younger daughter and I made some crafts with beads while my husband and son played a video game together in this youth club that is specifically designed for cruisers aged 11-14. Keep it in mind as something fun and new to check out this cruise.
I hope that you have a wonderful summer and make some fabulous family memories together onboard the Disney Cruise Line. Please visit us again at planDisney if you have any more questions. We would love to help in any way that we can.
Bon Voyage!
