I am looking to book character dining experience for our granddaughters, but unable to find one with any of the Disney princesses. Is this going to become available? We are travelling to Orlando Disney in August 2022.

Hey Howdy Hey Christine and welcome to planDisney!

Character dining in Walt Disney World Resort is such a great experience to get a delicious meal and more individual time with characters without having to wait in lines. Add into this meal Disney princesses and your meal transforms into a Royal experience! In the past, several options existed for these special experiences, so let's review what options you currently have as well as what to keep an eye out for if any news breaks on returning experiences.

The first place you will want to learn about all the experiences throughout Walt Disney World involving princesses is the Disney Princess landing page on the Walt Disney World website. This site is full of all the Royal details of dining options, meet and greets and attraction experiences! Here you will find specific information on where you can dine with the noble presence of the princesses and others.

I will let you know that currently, there is only one option for princess dining that is available which is Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom. Others such as Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT continue their temporary pause since Covid-19 closures. So if you are looking for a Regal meal, I would highly suggest trying to get your reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table. This experience takes place in Cinderella Castle and you will have time to meet Cinderella herself as well as some of her other popular friends!

Considering you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in August, I would keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog. Here, we hope to learn about the return of any of the other experiences across Walt Disney World involving our Royal hostesses.

Just a reminder about advanced dining reservations. These open up to everyone 60-days from their date of travel at 6:00 a.m. EST. You will have the best availability to book online or on your My Disney Experience app. You also have the option to call Disney for help booking these reservations.

Best of luck with the continued planning of your upcoming holiday later this year. I wish for a trip full of Regal encounters full of Magical memories. Please feel free to stop back and let us know if you have any further questions, we would be happy to help!

    Happy planning,

    Nick
