    I am looking to book breakfast with the characters at Animal Kingdom. We are planning a trip the week after Christmas Dec 26 - Jan 2. How early can I book, easiest way, and is there a better day? Also other input on that experience would be great, Thanks!

    Hello Jenna,

    Breakfast or lunch at Tusker House is a fantastic character meal at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The food is delicious and seeing Mickey and his friends dressed in their safari gear is tons of fun, too. It is one of my family's favorite spots to dine.

    You can book this character meal as early as 180 days out and I suggest doing it as soon as that 180 window opens up since it is a very popular dining location. You can book online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463). I find that booking online is very easy and pretty hassle-free. However, the cast members at the dining hotline are extremely helpful as well. The only catch with calling is that you might be on hold for a bit, especially if you call first thing in the morning.
