I am looking for best route from WL to FW. I've read there is a walking path between the 2 resorts rather than taking boat. Our goal is to go to sing-a-long and explore the 2 resorts. Also, is 7:00 time of October's sing-along?

    Hi Christy,

Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing-a-Long is such great fun!  When I called to inquire the times for October, I was told that there is no information on this until closer to the date.  The Cast Member I spoke with actually said the schedule for each month will come out on the beginning of the month and suggested to call back October 1st.  Right now, the fire lighting is at 7:30 pm with the Sing-a-Long beginning at 8:00 pm.  The Disney movie will start around 8:40 pm.  The Cast Member indicated that when Daylight Savings time ends (which is November 4th), the time will switch either a half an hour to an hour earlier.

There is a jogging/walking path between the Wilderness Lodge and Ft. Wilderness Campground.  It is a 2.5 mile loop although I find that the campground gets confusing at time.  Upon check-in, ask for the jogging map.  My family was just at the Wilderness Lodge last month, and I jogged this path a couple of times and it always was closer to 4 miles.  I would take the boat to the campground and then walk or take the bus to the Sing-a-Long especially if you have little ones with you.  The campground area has so much to explore!  You can easily spend several hours there.  Please let me know if I can help you further, Christy!
