Hey there, Kathy, and welcome to planDisney!
You're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in no time flat. Since you're trying to price out a nine-night stay with 5 park days, of course, you'd want to get the best bang for your buck. While just playing around on the website, I noticed great rates for your May dates, but more availability for your April dates. Since all of this information is subject to change, let me show you the best way to truly discover which dates will work best for you.
The best way to compare rates to best suit your budget is to use the Build Your Vacation tool on the
Walt Disney World Resort homepage. You can select your dates, the number of people in your travel party, etc. You can even choose a specific
Disney Resorts Collection hotel if you'd like, or you can leave that set at All Resort Hotels to see rates for all the available resorts. Follow all the prompts, including selecting your resort, the 5 days worth of
Theme Park Tickets, and even add a
Disney Dining Plan to your vacation if you wish. Once you've chosen just what you want, scroll down and tap Compare Vacation Offers. You can then create another vacation package with your second possible dates and any other changes you may want. You'll then be able to see a fair price difference and make your final choice.
Pro-tip: Remember to check the
Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts page before making any decisions to utilize any savings that apply. Crunch the numbers and see whether you could save more via a
room discount for up to 30% savings, depending on where you choose to stay, or the
Spring ticket offer for Disney+ Subscribers for 3 out of 4 of the parks.
Kathy, whichever dates you choose, I'm sure you'll have a magical time. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
