I am looking for the best options to book 1 day at Hollywood Studios and 1 day at Magic Kingdom for 3 adults and two children age 11 and 5. We will be in orlando 4/14 - 4/19.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Maguy!

Thank you so much for sending us your magical question, and welcome to planDisney! Oh my goodness, Maguy, your vacation is coming so soon! Can you believe that you will be at the Walt Disney World Resort, soaking in all the magic in Florida's sunny weather, in only a few weeks? I am so excited for you and your family to experience the Resort's 50th anniversary, and I am honoured to be a part of your planning journey.

One thing that I love about planning a Disney vacation is that there are truly options that fit everybody's needs. However, it can sometimes get a bit confusing, so I am here to help! When buying your theme park tickets, you will not have to worry about your itinerary yet. If you want to purchase your tickets together, you can visit the Walt Disney World website and click on "Theme Park Tickets" under the Parks and Tickets tab. Then, select the number of days you will be visiting, or in this case, two, and leave the "1 Park Per Day" option selected. Two-day tickets expire four days after their selected date, so you do not have to visit the parks on two consecutive days. After choosing the day of your visit, indicate how many tickets you will need. Since one of your kids is under nine years old, you will need three tickets for "Ages 10+" and one for "Ages 3-9." You can add both types of tickets to one transaction and purchase all of your tickets together. If you have already created profiles for each member of your party, you will be able to link the tickets to them directly. Otherwise, you can enter the confirmation number of your tickets in your My Disney Experience account and link each ticket to their respective profiles after your purchase. All you will have to do next is make your theme park reservations for your whole party for Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Once your tickets and theme park reservations are settled, the real planning fun begins! At Magic Kingdom Park, I would highly recommend finding a spot to watch Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade. Personally, I love watching the parade from Frontierland, right in front of Country Bear Jamboree, and I am so happy that it has finally returned to the Magic Kingdom! As for Disney's Hollywood Studios, one of my absolute favourite attractions is Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. After veritably entering a Disney cartoon, you will help Mickey and Minnie save their perfect picnic. It is an attraction that everyone in your party is sure to love!

I hope this was helpful, Maguy, and that you and your family will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. You and me, we're in a club, and nothing can stop us now!

    Have a magical day,
