Congratulations on your wedding! A Disney cruise is such a great way to celebrate a honeymoon! I’ve seen many honeymooners on our Disney cruises, and they always seem to be having the most magical time! The
Disney Fantasy also has a very special place in my heart. It’s the ship I’ve sailed on the most, and the one my kids have grown up on, having sailed on it since my kids were babies. Besides family adventures, my husband and I have had many adult-only adventures on board, which could be perfect for your honeymoon cruise! I would love to make some suggestions regarding a honeymoon Disney cruise!
While any Disney cruise itinerary is always magical, my recommendation for your honeymoon cruise itinerary, based on the specific descriptions in your question, is a 5-Night cruise on the Disney Fantasy with either a stop at both
Disney Castaway Cay or
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point or 2 Stops at Disney Castaway Cay.
I suggest this itinerary because you want to experience the Disney Fantasy as a guest (forewarning: you’re going to LOVE the experience!). A sailing to both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point provides you with many adult-only spaces both on board the ship and on the islands. It makes the trip more budget-friendly since many of the amenities—including lunch—at both
Disney Island Destinations are included in your cruise fare! There are many
Port Adventures at both destinations that are available for a minimal cost, such as bike riding, snorkeling, and many others. Both also offer included activities such as adult-only beaches, walking, nature trails, etc.
If you’re trying to be even more budget-friendly, I suggest starting in the
Special Offers page on the Disney Cruise Line website. There are
many cruises with this itinerary with a Special Offer!
As far as adult-only activities on board, I suggest spending time at
Quiet Cove Pool, having an adult-only brunch at
Palo, and making a dining reservation at
Remy. While Palo and Remy are an additional cost, they are two of my husband’s and my favorite activities on board, and we look forward to both during every sailing on board the Disney Fantasy! Remy is actually my favorite restaurant on any Disney Cruise Line ship and makes any special celebration even more special, especially a honeymoon celebration!
