We are looking into becoming Annual Passholders. Is there a way to find out when more will be distributed for sale?

Hello there, Jessica. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I absolutely love being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder and I know you will too, Jessica! The program is so fun to be a part of and the perks are amazing. I especially love complimentary theme park parking, the use of the MemoryMaker for the entire year and discounts on food and merchandise isn't bad either. Jessica, I don't yet have any information as to when the sale of new Annual Passes for Guests may resume. This has been a really hot topic of conversation because so many people are wanting to get back to a world of magic! In my personal opinion, I don't think you are going to have to wait too much longer. We are starting to see some restrictions lifter and I think with that the capacity limitations at the theme parks will be higher soon. Guests with current Annual Passes are being allowed to renew at this time telling me the program isn't going anywhere. With all of this, I can't see it being too much longer to wait, Jessica. What I've been doing to stay informed is checking back over at the Disney Parks Blog once a day or so for updates. When information about the sale of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes is released you will find all of the details over there.

Until then, Jessica, you have two ticket options to choose from if you'd like to visit now. You can choose a standard theme park ticket that allows entry into one Walt Disney World Theme Park per day or you can choose to upgrade to a park hopper ticket. Park hopping is where you can visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. There's no bad choice but I am partial to park hopping. No matter the ticket type, keep in mind that you'll also need to make park pass reservations to visit the theme parks right now. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the theme park you'd like to visit.

I'm sorry that I don't have more information for you right now, Jessica. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
