Hi Moms when looking at the Beach Club for our next vacation I noticed that the standard room was the same price as the studio villas. What is the advantage or disadvantage of one over the other including distance to pool, bus stop and walkway to Epcot

Hi Amy!  There isn't a huge difference between the amenities for these two types of lodging.  With the villa you will also get a microwave in the room and a balcony or patio where many of the Beach Club rooms have only small standing balconies attached to them.  The normal resort rooms will have two queen beds where the villas have one queen bed and then one double sleeper sofa.  When you are using that the studio villas can be quite cozy.

When staying in the main resort you are closer to the store and market place as well as the bus stops but none of this is extraordinarily different.  And of course it would also depend on which resort room you are assigned as to the proximity to the bus stop and how far to walk to EPCOT.  Both the villas and the main resort are in great locations and convenient.  The decision for you would be what you would like the room configuration to be for the beds.
