Ahoy again, Cory!
Welcome back to planDisney! I can already picture your little royal getting ready for her big moment—it’s a bit like watching Aurora awaken or Cinderella step into her glass slipper. Let’s see how we can make sure your princess shines on her magical day at sea!
When it comes to the selection of gowns, the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training do their very best to keep a wide variety of styles and sizes stocked at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. While I can’t promise a Rapunzel dress will be available in the exact size you’re looking for, I’ve always found that there’s a beautiful assortment on board. That being said, the Boutique’s stock can vary from ship to ship, so the best plan is to visit the Boutique as soon as you board (they may not open until after the muster drill). That way, you and your princess can speak directly with a Fairy Godmother-in-Training, explore what’s available, and make sure the perfect fit is ready before the royal transformation begins.
As for photos, the best way to preview some of the magical possibilities is to look online at photos shared by other Guests who’ve sailed before you. Many have shared pictures of the gowns their princesses chose—Rapunzel, Belle, Ariel, and more. And if the Rapunzel gown in her size isn’t available during your appointment, the
Fairy Godmothers-in-Training are great at helping you adjust plans. For example, if you decide a different package, like the Deluxe Carriage Package, better suits your needs, they can guide you through that change at the time of the appointment. Some families even bring their own dress from home, which can be a wonderful way to ensure your princess gets exactly what she’s been dreaming of.
I hope this helps you feel more prepared for
your royal adventure. I know from my own experience that seeing your child transformed into their favorite Disney Princess is one of those moments that you’ll carry in your heart long after the ship has returned to port. It truly is the “happily ever after” highlight of many sailings.
Sea ya real soon as we ride the wave of summer’s final stretch in Disney style,
Dustin
