We are looking at going back to WDW in 2009, and would like to stay at a WDW resort hotel. However, I'm pretty picky when it comes to cleanliness of hotels. Can you recommend to me which (mod and lux) hotels you would say are the 'cleanest' or nicest? THX!

Hi Lisa,  I'm a bit of a "neat-nick" myself.  In fact, my most prized holiday gift is my fancy new vacuum cleaner!  My cleaning standards apply when we travel as well, so I can appreciate your pickiness!  While specific hotels are largely a matter of personal preference, I can honestly say that every Disney World Resort that we have stayed at or had the opportunity to see (which have included rooms and suites in the value, moderate and deluxe categories as well as the Disney Vacation Club Villas) have easily met my high standards for cleanliness.  Most of the guests that I've spoken to or traveled with agree that the "Mousekeepers" who keep your room tidy during your visit to an excellent job!  One of my favorite resorts in the moderate category is Caribbean Beach Resort, especially it's well-themed pool.  I was also very impressed by the Yacht and Beach Club lobbies, themed areas and rooms.    Have a great trip!
