Hi Robert! Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I'm excited you are planning a stay at the
Walt Disney World Resort in the new year! I love visiting during late February since the weather is typically mild and makes your park days a bit easier to navigate.
I'm happy you are considering staying in a
Disney Resorts Hotel! Each one is themed incredibly and adds to the magic of a Disney vacation. I took a peek at the availability for your anticipated travel dates, and there are plenty of studios available during this time. Resort options range from value to moderate, and also plenty of deluxe options. Depending on your budget, you'll find each category to provide plenty of amenities and recreation activities. You'll also receive countless benefits and perks regardless of your choice, including complimentary Disney Transportation to and from the parks each day.
To search for resorts yourself, head over to the Walt Disney World website and use the "Build Your Vacation" toolbar located toward the top of the page. Enter your travel dates and the number of Guests in your party to search for available resorts. There will be a variety of options available for each, ranging from standard to preferred rooms at many of the resorts. Once you select your resort, you'll have the option to add your park tickets to your reservation. This will create a vacation package that will only require a deposit to lock in your dates. You'll be required to pay the balance 30 days before your arrival date.
I recently returned from a Disney Resorts Hotel stay and was lucky enough to stay at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. This resort falls into the moderate category, and I found it to have a great mix of what I was looking for. There were great food offerings, including both quick service and table service dining. There were multiple pools throughout the resort, including the main pool area that had a fun slide for all Guests to enjoy!
Robert, I hope you have a fun time planning your upcoming trip!
