Hi, Kellie, and a very warm welcome to planDisney! Sounds like you have a special visit to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up soon! I'm so thrilled for you.
Thank you for trusting us with your question. Mickey Mouse is hosting a
Very Merry Christmas Party over at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, but this particular after hours event is not currently offered at the Disneyland Resort. However, there is
plenty of holiday magic to experience at the Happiest Place on Earth, Kellie! If you have a theme park ticket and a
park reservation for the dates of your visit, you'll be able to enjoy all that the
Holidays at Disneyland Resort has to offer! For your California Adventure Park day, I recommend the
Festive Food Marketplace to try all the diverse eats and treats from around the globe, then a stroll through Radiator Springs to see it all decked out in its holiday best (you'll definitely want to take a spin on
Luigi's Joy to the Whirl too) then end your magical day by experiencing the
World of Color Happiness! nighttime show. Make sure to keep your eye on the
Daily Events Schedule on the Disneyland website, Kellie. The Daily Events Schedule is an incredibly helpful resource, not only for updating you on all the events and entertainment happening in the parks on the days of your visits, but also includes park hours, attraction closure information, as well as show times.
For some Enchanting Extras during the most magical season of the year, Kellie, you should definitely check out
Storytellers Cafe at the Grand Californian Hotel for two delightfully themed dining options - Daisy's Holiday Pajama Party and Mickey's Christmas Carol Feast. Advanced reservations are highly recommended, but if you don't see availability for your particular dates, keep checking! I've been lucky enough to get a dining reservation all the way up to two hours before the time I was hoping for. It's not guaranteed, but magic does happen sometimes!
Tip: I recommend booking a dining reservation at Storytellers Cafe on a day you do not plan to visit a theme park, as you do not need a theme park ticket to visit the Grand Californian Hotel. Save your dining experience at Storytellers Cafe for the morning of your departure day to say one last magical goodbye!
Well, Kellie, I hope this information has been helpful and you'll be immersed in the magic very soon! If any other questions come up in your planning, like where to find my favorite seasonal treats, please don't hesitate to
reach out to us again!
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
