We are looking at attending the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure. I am wondering if I can get more info on the structure of the breakfast, for example is there a time limit since we have to reserve a specific time?

A royal hello to you, Meredith, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’d be delighted to help you plan your magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth this September!

I’m so excited to hEAR that you’re considering the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It’s a whole new Character dining experience, including more intimate Character interactions, themed activities, a delicious 3-course breakfast, photo opportunities, and even a fun takeaway bag! This experience is usually expected to last between 1.5-2.5 hours, and is currently available Thursday through Monday between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. I checked a few future dates, and found reservation times mostly at 8:00, 8:20, 8:40, 9:00, 9:40, 10:00, 10:20, and 10:40. I would recommend booking a reservation by 10:00 AM to allow you enough time to experience everything you can from this royal adventure!

Here’s a general idea of the structure of Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures: Upon arrival, you’ll check in at the host stand, where little Mouseketeers will receive an autograph book and pen of their choice. After checking in, you’ll be led to the Napa Rose Lounge, where you’ll wait for your table. You may even experience your first Princess interaction while you’re waiting! Upon being seated, you’ll start off with bread service and a fruit platter, followed by a starter on a three-tier tower. Next, you’ll be offered a selection of buffet-style hot breakfast items, including House Made Mac & Cheese for children, and Perfect Scrambled Eggs for adults. Last but certainly not least, you’ll be treated to family-style desserts to treat your sweet tooth! Throughout your meal, Princesses will stop by for photos and interactions. In addition, you can head outside to meet with two Princesses and participate in storytime and lessons. For the grand finale, you’ll head back inside for a special photo with another Princess. As a parting gift, your little Prince or Princess will receive their choice of a necklace or foam sword and shield, along with some delicious truffles.

If this royal adventure sounds like the right fit for you and your family, I recommend making reservations ahead of time. You can make reservations online, or by calling (714) 781-DINE (3463). Also, I noticed your arrival date is on a Tuesday, and reservations for this experience are only available Thursday through Monday. I hope another day may work for you!

Please stop by with any additional questions you may have. I can’t wait for you to live out your fairy-tale dreams!

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A.
