Looking for assistance booking a cruise.

Welcome to planDisney, Teresa! "Booking a cruise" tops my list of favorite things to do. Luckily, there are so many resources available to help you. And I'm glad you stopped by planDisney to start.

You can book a cruise yourself, by calling Disney Cruise Line or through a travel agent. I will walk through my recommendations for each to help you get started.

    • Making a Disney Cruise Line reservation online starts with a simple search of any combination of dates you want to travel, destinations, and ports of departure. From these search criteria, the website will give you a list of itineraries available and you can further refine your search including the number of nights you wish to be at sea, preferred ships, and special events, like Marvel Day at Sea. You can follow the prompts and do everything to pick and secure a stateroom for you and your traveling party.
    • Calling the reservation center allows you to speak with a knowledgeable Disney Cruise Line travel planner. They are really helpful, and some people appreciate being able to ask questions. I would recommend spending some time searching cruises online before calling, just to get a sense of destinations, ships, and itineraries and be able to ask for more specific guidance.
    • Travel agents can assist in making your reservation, and many specialize in Disney vacations and Disney Cruise Line. I always recommend looking for Authorized Disney Vacation Planners to know they have considerable expertise and experience supporting families with their Disney vacations.

As you are getting started planning, you may want to request these Cruise Planning Tools, including videos and e-brochures to help begin your planning. No matter how you choose to book your cruise, these tools are great for learning more about Disney Cruises.

Once you have your cruise reservation, be sure to read these tips for preparing for your cruise for great information like required citizenship documentation and suggested packing lists. I also recommend downloading the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. It has a fun clock to count down the days until your vacation, and it is a great tool for selecting your cruise activities and knowing all the fun on board the ship.

As you continue planning your Disney Cruise, please come back to planDisney with any questions. We are here to help!

Hope to see you on board soon!
