We are looking at Art of Animation Cars suite, or Boardwalk room. We are hoping to do Boardwalk for it's proximity to the parks. Is there a way to guarantee room with 2 beds and the sofa sleeper? Options list multiple choices.

Hey Howdy Hey Janelle and welcome back to planDisney!

Thank you so much for your question about room amenities. With our family of five, I can totally relate to your concern about booking rooms with certain amenities to ensure that everyone in the party has enough space. Disney's BoardWalk Inn is one that can accommodate up to five adults in the room but does give various options for room amenities, so let's review some specifics.

It is my understanding that when you are booking your Disney Resort Collection hotel accommodations if you select the maximum number of Guests per room then you will be given the room amenities that will work with the number of Guests. So chances are very slim that if you have a party of five you will be assigned a room with one king bed and a day bed.

You do have an option where you can make special requests after you book your trip. You can call Disney and give them your confirmation number and they can put in a special request for specific rooms. The Cast Members do try hard to make these accommodations but are first come first serve and subject to availability, so I would get your request in early.

You can also do this on the day of arrival. You can stop by the front desk at check-in and see the specifics of the room. As long as they have availability they can make the changes if they need to.

Hopefully, this information was helpful and you are able to book a room with plenty of space for your whole party.  If you have any further questions please let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
