Looking for approx times for arrival at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood from the Art of Animation hotel, via Disney's shuttle bus. I dont want to be on the bus too long with little ones. Also what do you prefer, Art of Anim or Caribbean Beach? Early Feb 2014

    Hi Alyssa,

I'm happy to assist and offer my suggestions for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World resort.

On a recent visit, I timed the bus ride from Art of Animation to Magic Kingdom, just so I can answer questions like yours precisely. The answer: 18 minutes from the time the wheels started rolling at Art of Animation until the doors opened at Magic Kingdom. I also timed the route to Epcot at 13 minutes.

Hollywood Stuidos is the closest park to Art of Animation so the ride there should be no more than the ride to Epcot, probably a couple of minutes less.

I'm sure you might get a different opinion from other members of the Moms Panel but the choice between AoA and Caribbean Beach, for me, is easy. I'm an Art of Animation girl all the way. Caribbean Beach is a bit spread out for my taste and I don't like the fact that there are numerous bus stops to navigate inside the resort before you head for the parks.

I'm a huge fan of all the detailed theming at Art of Animation. I like the food court. The pools are very fun. And there's a single bus station in front of Animation Hall. AoA buses are not shared with other resorts. Once you are on the bus, you are on your way to the parks immediately.

i hope that information helps you as you make your planning decisions. Please feel free to write back to me or another of  my Disney Parks Moms Panel friends if you have other questions that we can help with. Enjoy!
