Hi there, Katherine!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and please extend a "thank you" to your husband for all of his years of military service. I'm so excited you are able to fit a little magic into your trip by visiting the Disneyland Resort.
As with all military promotional tickets, you are able to purchase these directly from your local military base ticket office with your valid ID as an active or retired service member. For 1-day and 2-day tickets, a small military discount is offered, but you will need to contact your military ticket office directly for pricing. Typically these 1-day and 2-day tickets have been discounted approximately 5% off of the current rate. By far your best discount would be to purchase the
specially priced 3-day or 4-day promotional military tickets. These are so heavily discounted that it may only be a few dollars more for a 3-day Park Hopper ticket than if you purchase a military discounted 1-day Park Hopper ticket. If you can manage to sneak in a couple extra days at the parks, it will definitely be worth it to take advantage of this fantastic military offer. Keep in mind that these tickets are also valid for the duration of the promotional period, so even if you can't use all the park days on this trip, you can come back and visit later in the year to finish using your ticket. I love buying a 4-day military promotional ticket and splitting it up to create two magical mini vacations!
I hope this was helpful, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Day day!
