Hiya Darrin! Welcome to planDisney! You have stopped by the perfect place to get answers to all your Walt Disney World Resort questions!
Oh boy! I'm excited you and your girlfriend have decided to start planning a trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth! There is nothing more exciting than a visit to see Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the gang!
When booking a vacation package, either on the Walt Disney World website or by calling, you'll be able to include your Disney Resorts Hotel, theme park tickets, and a few additional add-ons. The quickest way to book your stay is by
heading to the website and utilizing the "Build Your Vacation" toolbar toward the top of the screen. Here you can input your anticipated travel dates and the number of Guests in your party. Several
Disney Resorts Hotels will populate that have availability for that date range and you can select the resort and room type that work best for your trip. You'll then move on to your
theme park tickets, where you will select the number of park days and the
Park Hopper Option. This will give you access to all four theme parks each day of your stay. You'll also have the choice to add Memory Maker, which allows you unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads throughout your visit. A deposit is required upon checkout and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
If you prefer to include even more into your package, I suggest reaching out to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. You'll be able to work with these individuals closely to plan for your entire stay. They will be able to handle everything, including airfare and roundtrip transportation. The best part about using their services is you'll pay the same amount for your trip as if you booked it yourself! To find one, simply perform a Google search for Authorized Disney Vacation Planners and pick the one that fits your needs.
Darrin, there are plenty of ways to cut out carbs while making your way around the parks. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park has a few great options that are not only carb friendly, but absolutely delicious as well.
Satu'li Canteen has customizable bowls that can be lettuce based along with your choice of meat. Flame Tree Barbecue has a selection of smoked meats that don't even require any added sauces. They are that good! Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can even try the famous
Ronto Wrap on the planet of Batuu. Just have them hold the pita for the next Jedi. There are many more options just like these that will make your food choices rather easy.
Best of luck planning your upcoming visit!
