Looking ahead at running my first disney princess half in 2018. What hotel do you suggest for convenience to race, and parks? I will have my three young children 5,4,2 and husband on the trip as well. Looking to make it as stress free as possible for them!

    Hi Chelsie!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love planning my next runDisney race weekend!  The sooner I start planning, the better:)

During Disney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend, ALL of the Walt Disney World Resorts are host resorts. This means they all offer complimentary bus transportation to and from each race weekend event (for runners and spectators).  Because of this, any of the resorts are convenient.  They all also offer the normal Walt Disney World bus service to the parks and Disney Springs.

The Deluxe Resorts are located closest to the parks, and therefore would be the most convenient overall. But, they are also more expensive.  Being on the monorail makes spectating convenient, as they can enter the Magic Kingdom on race morning (no ticket required) and watch you run up Main Street, U.S.A, toward Cinderella Castle at around mile five of the race.  Disney's Grand Floridian, Disney's Polynesian Village and Disney's Contemporary Resorts are all located on the monorail.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
