Looking ahead to next year, Easter falls in April. If our spring break is mid-March, will it be less crowded because it doesn't coincide with Easter in any way? Trying to plan ahead and pick a date for our long-awaited return to WDW. Thanks!

    Hi Jessica,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My family often travels to Walt Disney World over spring break as my daughter typically has at least a week off from school at that time. While it is a crowded time of year at Walt Disney World, we find that the weather is nice, and with careful planning including making dining reservations in advance and taking advantage of Disney's FastPass+ selections, we have a great time.

Spring break season does tend to last a while as not all schools take spring breaks at the same time; however, it does typically seem that most spring breaks fall near Easter. Since Easter falls on April 16, 2017, if your spring break is in mid-March, my guess it that this will be the beginning of spring break season, and while you will find somewhat increased crowds, they should not be as large as at Easter.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Jessica! Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
